Lil Wayne “Tha Carter V” Songs Dominate Top 5 On Billboard Streaming Songs Chart

The album marked Wayne’s fourth number one album on the Billboard 200 and first chart-topper since 2011’s Tha Carter IV. Now, five songs off of the album have manifested the top five of Billboard’s Streaming Songs chart.
Lil Wayne is holding the top five spots on the Billboard Streaming Songs chart following the release of the long-awaited, Tha Carter V. The rapper’s collaboration with Kendrick Lamar holds the top spot while “Don’t Cry” with XXXTENTACION follows. The third spot goes to his Travis Scott collab, “Let It Fly” while four and five go to “Uproar” and “Dedicate, respectively.
Wayne dominates the top five, 19 out of the 23 songs off of his latest opus found their way on the chart. Aside from Drake, Wayne is now the only artist to land nineteen songs on the chart out the 50 positions.
Wayne’s extraordinary chart performance has also led to the rapper bringing in a few M’s during the first week. According to HITS Daily Double, the rapper had all 23 tracks off of Tha Carter V landed in the top 50 highest-earning songs of the week, netting a gross total of $3,338,722. Wayne brought in $335,141 alone off of the Kendrick Lamar-assisted, “Mona Lisa.” Wayne’s top three grossing tracks off of the project include “Mona Lisa,” as well as”Don’t Cry” with XXXTENTACION” and the Travis Scott-featured “Let It Fly.”
