Migos & DJ Durel Head Into Fall With “Hot Summer” Visuals
Migos end out the warmer months by celebrating the “Hot Summer.”
The three have a formulaic approach to their music after having popularized a certain sound and launched Atlanta trap to the forefront of hip-hop music. It was certainly a very hot summer in terms of the quantity of music we received, Migos stayed relatively quiet aside from their opening gig on Drake’s tour, which is evidently a huge opportunity.
They close out the warmer months with the release of their “Hot Summer” visuals today, going for vintage feels with ’90s looks, glitchy VCR effects, giant boomboxes and dancing on top of a school bus.
Bringing everyone back to their childhood, or a more luxurious version of it, “Hot Summer” is the perfect way to end the sunnier months as back-to-school season is in full effect.
