Young Thug Shares The Trippy New “Gain Clout” Music Video
Young Thug is fresh off the release of the Young Stoner Life compilation project, Slime Language. The project consists of fifteen new songs that highlights several new artists that are signed to YSL. Thug did include a few solo tracks as well. Both “Tsunami” and “Gain Clout” are the only two solo Thug tracks on the project. Shortly after the project’s release, Thug comes through with the official music video for “Gain Clout.”
Thugger is back with his new visuals for “Gain Clout.” The music video was directed by Millicent Hailes who previously worked with Lil Yachty and Quavo on the “Ice Tray” music video and also worked with Thug on the “Up” music video with Lil Uzi Vert. Hailes comes through with a lot of special effects that make the video one of Thug’s most trippy videos to date.
The release of the “Gain Clout” video comes shortly after Young Thug was released from jail. The rapper was arrested and charged last night after his listening/birthday party at Dave & Busters in Atlanta. Cops said that they discovered multiple weapons after searching a member of Young Thug’s crew’s vehicle. Thug was later charged with carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle.
